Recording Studio Policy 

Welcome to SoundVillage Atlanta. Our studio is a creative environment designed to foster focus, expression, and high-quality recordings. By booking a session, all clients agree to the following policies.

 

Booking & Confirmation

• All sessions are subject to availability.

• Sessions are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

• Clients must provide accurate session details to ensure proper preparation.

• SoundVillage reserves the right to decline or reschedule bookings if necessary.
  
   

Deposits & Payments

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time.

• Deposits confirm your booking and reserve studio availability.

• Remaining balances must be paid prior to or at the start of the session unless otherwise agreed.

• Sessions will not begin until payment requirements are satisfied.
  
   

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• Clients may request to reschedule with adequate notice (minimum 48 hours recommended).

• Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

• Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of payment and loss of booking privileges.

Session Time & Late Policy

• Session time begins at the scheduled start time, not arrival time.

• Late arrival will reduce your available session time.

• Sessions will end at the scheduled time unless additional time is available and approved.

• Overtime may be billed at an hourly rate.

Studio Equipment & Operation

• All studio equipment is operated exclusively by SoundVillage staff.

• Clients and guests are not permitted to handle, adjust, or operate equipment unless explicitly approved.

• Any damage resulting from unauthorized use may result in additional fees.

Guests & Studio Capacity

• Clients must indicate if they are bringing guests.

• Guest attendance is limited to maintain a focused and professional environment.

• SoundVillage reserves the right to restrict or remove guests who disrupt the session.

Session Conduct & Environment

• SoundVillage is a professional creative space.

• Clients and guests are expected to maintain respect for the environment, staff, and equipment.

• Disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional behavior may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

Recording, Files & Deliverables

• Deliverables (raw recordings, edits, mixes, etc.) depend on the session type booked.

• Turnaround times will be discussed based on project scope.

• File delivery methods (email, download link, etc.) will be communicated after the session.

• SoundVillage is not responsible for storing session files indefinitely. Clients are encouraged to back up their files promptly.

Creative Direction & Responsibility

• SoundVillage provides recording services, not guaranteed artistic outcomes.

• Clients are responsible for performance readiness, including lyrics, arrangements, and preparation.

• Studio time is intended to capture and enhance, not create from scratch unless explicitly booked for that purpose.

Prohibited Activities

The following are not permitted within the studio:

• Unauthorized equipment use

• Excessive disruption or interference with recording

• Any illegal activity

SoundVillage reserves the right to end sessions immediately if policies are violated.

 Liability

• Clients are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests.

• SoundVillage is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Policy Agreement

By booking a session with SoundVillage Atlanta, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
